Welcome to my world — a sanctuary for the soul-seeking woman, the dream-chaser, and the ever-curious heart. I’m Nia, a former high school maths teacher turned author, with a degree in Psychological Counselling. My journey, perhaps much like yours, has been one of discovery, transformation, and finding light in unexpected places.
Books have always been my refuge, offering solace and adventure within their pages. I’ve lost count of the hours I’ve spent nestled in the cosy corners of bookshops, traveling through stories, and dreaming alongside characters who feel like old friends. This love of books, coupled with a deep appreciation for the simple joys of wandering through forests, exploring ancient houses, and the ritual of a good coffee in a quaint café, forms the tapestry of my life.
My blog is a letter of love to every woman who finds herself at midlife, wondering if the script can still be rewritten. It’s for you, the woman who feels perhaps a bit unfulfilled, despite the beautiful chaos of life, and is yearning for something more — something deeply impactful yet not necessarily grandiose in the conventional sense.
I remember standing at the threshold of 45, looking back and looking forward, caught between contentment and a deep-seated desire for change. There was this voice inside me, whispering that perhaps the best years were behind. But another voice, stronger and more daring, challenged that notion. It urged me to redefine what fulfilment means at this stage of life — to see it not as a closing chapter but as a grand, unexplored territory brimming with potential.
This blog, and my writing, is my rebellion against the idea that life after 40 is somehow less vibrant, less meaningful. It’s a testament to the power of small, impactful changes — of curating a life filled with moments that resonate with who we truly are, and who we still wish to become.
For every woman who feels young at heart yet burdened by the thought that her dreams might be out of reach, I write for you. Together, we’ll explore the beauty of reinvention, not through drastic upheavals, but through meaningful shifts that awaken our spirits and enrich our lives.
My journey has taught me that it’s never too late to chase a dream, to discover a new passion, or to find joy in the smallest of moments. Through From Coffee Cups to Curator, and the books I write, I share my adventures, insights, and the lessons learned along the way, hoping to inspire you to curate your own life — one filled with purpose, passion, and a plethora of perfect little moments and new successes.
Join me in this journey of discovery and transformation. Let’s curate a life that celebrates every facet of who we are and who we aspire to be.
